About Powers Yoga

One Yoga. Many Paths.
Powers Yoga is a modern practice rooted in the Hatha tradition and inspired by the fluid nature of Vinyasa. More than a style of yoga, it is a transformational methodology designed to help students awaken their potential through intentional movement, conscious breath, mindful exploration, and stillness.
Since 2005, Powers Yoga has been creating experiences that support healing, personal growth, and self-discovery. Through classes, retreats, teacher trainings, and transformational journeys, we provide a welcoming community where every student can grow at their own pace, both on and off the mat.
Our Philosophy
We believe in One Yoga, Many Paths. While yoga has evolved into many styles, lineages, and methods, they all share a common foundation. Powers Yoga honors those roots while offering its own path, one that emphasizes awareness, intentional movement, and awakening from within.
We believe every person carries an innate potential within them. Through movement, breath, and stillness, we create the conditions for that potential to awaken. Healing cannot be forced, and transformation cannot be manufactured. It unfolds naturally through practice, self-inquiry, and intentional living.
Rather than defining truth for our students, we encourage them to discover it for themselves. Every person’s journey is unique. Our role is not to provide all the answers, but to guide the process with compassion, curiosity, and intention.

More Than a Yoga Practice
Powers Yoga is more than physical postures. It is a lifelong journey of awakening, self-discovery, and intentional living.
Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or deepening an existing practice, Powers Yoga offers a path to reconnect with yourself, awaken your true potential, and live your truth.
This philosophy is brought to life through our signature framework, Journey to Self™, where students are guided through the Five Stages of Awakening as they build a practice that extends far beyond the yoga mat.
