Chair Yoga
Chair Yoga Training
Powers Adaptive Yoga is a style of yoga that involves the assistance of a yoga chair as a prop to assist practitioners in modifying and refining their practice. The chair provides support, stability, and accessibility, making the poses more achievable for individuals with limited mobility, injuries, or those who may need extra support. Like in a regular yoga class, students can still benefit from improved flexibility, strength, and relaxation in Chair Yoga. Poses such as chair twists, seated forward folds, and supported backbends can all be incorporated using the chair to deepen the stretches and provide a safe environment for exploration and growth in one's practice.
